“57” Asolo Prosecco Superiore DOCG named Best in Class at CSWWC 2019
In the latest edition of The Champagne & Sparkling Wine World Championships 2019 founded by Tom Stevenson, our “57” Asolo Prosecco Superiore DOCG Extra Dry won the BEST IN CLASS medal among all the sparkling Asolo DOCG wines in competition.
Cantina Montelliana is very proud of the victory of this medal in one of the most important international competitions dedicated to the bubbles industry, as another recognition for the quality of the work we do with passion and dedication.
In 2019, Italian sparkling wines reached the top of the podium of the world bubbles championship, surpassing French Champagne for the first time. The award to our “57” Asolo Prosecco Superiore DOCG Extra Dry testifies once more how our territories have a unique and extraordinary vocation for the cultivation of the vine.
Created to commemorate the founding year of our winery, 1957, “57” Asolo Prosecco Superiore DOCG Extra Dry is obtained from a selection of the best grapes coming from the hills of Asolo. The intensely fruity scent reminiscent of golden apples and acacia flowers, its sapid and pleasantly slender taste, the impeccable clarity embroidered by a minute and incessant perlage, make it ideal as an aperitif, but also perfect in combination with dishes of fish and white meats.
