La coltivazione di questa variet\u00e0 \u00e8 stata abbandonata per molti anni, a causa dell\u2019arrivo della fillossera, ma ora, grazie al meticoloso lavoro di alcuni produttori, \u00e8 stata reintrodotta. La nostra interpretazione \u00e8 un vino dalle spiccate note fruttate, floreali e speziate. Di colore rosso rubino intenso, al gusto risulta giovane e succoso, con tannini morbidi e un\u2019acidit\u00e0 caratteristica. Parte della produzione matura in vasche di acciaio; l\u2019altra parte subisce invece un affinamento in legno, indispensabile per addomesticare i tannini tipici di questa variet\u00e0, che altrimenti sarebbero troppo ruvidi. Ottimo con carni rosse, carni al forno e con formaggi di media stagionatura. Part of the production matures in steel tanks; the other part ages in wood, essential to tame the typical tannins of this variety, which would otherwise be too rough. Excellent with red meats, baked meats, and medium-aged cheeses.
